How does deduplication work when using multiple data sources%s
When you import rides from multiple sources (e.g. Strava and file uploads), we automatically detect duplicate activities by comparing start time (within 5 minutes) and ride duration (within 10%). Detected duplicates are skipped on import and won't appear again. If a ride is incorrectly flagged, you can re-upload it manually. You can also remove any individual ride from your dashboard using the Remove button on the ride detail page.
Can I upload rides from multiple devices or apps%s
Yes! You can connect multiple data sources including Strava, upload .FIT files from your cycling computer, and eventually Hammerhead Karoo devices. All activities are automatically combined in your dashboard, with duplicates automatically removed.
How do I remove a ride from my dashboard%s
You can remove any ride permanently. The ride will be deleted from your dashboard and marked as removed so it won't be reimported if you resync. To remove a ride, navigate to the ride detail page and click the Remove button.
How long does the initial sync take?
The initial sync time depends on how many years of activity data you're importing. Typically, expect 5–20 minutes for several years of Strava activities. You'll receive an email when the sync is complete. Subsequent syncs are much faster since we only fetch new activities.
