HomeCommunity Guidelines

Last updated: August 2026

CycleLytic is for riders who want to understand their riding. The community side — following other riders, smiling at their rides, commenting, and sharing photos — only works if it stays civil. These rules apply to everything you post: comments, photos, ride names and notes, and your display name.

What is not allowed

Reporting something

In the CycleLytic app, every piece of content another rider created can be reported: open the … menu on a ride, a comment or a photo — or hold a rider’s name — and choose Report. On the website, use the Report link beside any comment. For anything else on the web, email support@cyclelytic.com and we treat it as a report on the same 24-hour clock. Tell us what is wrong with it and, if you like, add a note. Reports go straight to us; the rider you reported is not told who reported them.

Blocking someone

Blocking is immediate and does not wait on us. From the same menus, choose Block. Their rides, photos, comments and smiles disappear from your feed at once, yours disappear from theirs, and any follow between you is removed. You can see and undo your blocks in the app under Profile → Safety → Blocked riders, or on the web at Blocked riders.

Our commitment: 24 hours

We review every report within 24 hours. Where content breaks these rules we remove it, and where a rider keeps breaking them we remove their content and their access to the community. Reports reach us by email and push notification the moment they are filed, so the clock starts immediately — not at the next working day.

Removing your own content

You can delete any comment you wrote, and any photo you uploaded, at any time. If someone comments on your ride you can delete that too — it is your ride.
